He has overseen SMART’s re-entry into the business sector with cutting-edge collaborative technology, all while maintaining an unwavering commitment to SMART’s priorities in the world of education.

Roula Nasser is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of SMART Technologies. Roula is a strategic and operational CFO who serves as a trusted thought partner to the CEO and senior leadership team. Roula provides direction and discipline on the company's financial planning and reporting functions in order to achieve SMART's long-term revenue, profitability, and cashflow goals.
Roula brings to SMART many years of senior financial leadership experience from the technology industry. Roula's bias for action and drive for results through evaluating the strategic and financial aspects of business decisions has helped SMART transform its business model, core business processes, and infrastructure to support future growth.
Roula’s counsel and stewardship keeps the broader SMART team focused on the key performance indicators needed for a profitable future for SMART by creating an accountability-based approach that has resulted in a truly data-driven organisation ready to expand into new markets.
