The start of a new year feels like a great time to set new goals, embrace opportunities, and… gear up for two of the biggest North American education technology shows of the year: FETC and TCEA!
This year, I’m thrilled to be joining my amazing Lumio teammates as we take Orlando and Austin, and I can’t wait to share all the exciting plans we have in store for you. Whether you’re looking for innovative ways to engage students or seeking the latest EdTech tools for your team, you’re going to want to stop by and say hi. Here’s why:
Get hands-on with Lumio
We’re bringing Lumio’s greatness straight to the show floor! This is your chance to dive into Lumio’s best features, discover how it can supercharge student engagement, and even join us for interactive fun. (Spoiler alert: there may be games involved!)
Explore new features like AI Assist for quiz-based activities, student data export, add and attach audio and more. We’re ready to show you why Lumio is the go-to tool for making it easier for teachers to do what they do best - connect with their students.

- Jan 14th walking food tour with EdTech Bites: Explore Orlando’s culinary gems with us—because networking is always better with snacks. We’ll be hitting up 3 local delicious spots in downtown Orlando, and connecting over food. Beyond incredible food, this is a fun opportunity to connect, collaborate, and unwind with fellow leaders in education. Spots are limited so be sure to follow along on socials.

- Game show fun: Get ready to bring out your competitive side! We’re turning Lumio’s interactive quizzes into a full-fledged game show experience, complete with a lively host to keep the energy high. Stop by on Day 1 or Day 2 of TCEA to play, show off your skills, see Lumio’s AI Assist in action, and compete against fellow attendees. The best part? Winners from each day will enter a thrilling showdown at the end of the day for a chance to win a pair of AirPods!

Along with attending these events, I’m excited to visit my favourite theme parks in Orlando and see the sights (and eats) in Austin for the first time!
