Another user has created a hidden icon strip.
Remove the icon strip.
To remove the icon strip
In the notification area at the bottom right of your screen (Windows and Linux computers), or on the Dock (Mac Computers), click the SMART Board icon, and then select Control Panel.
In the Start Center, select the Control Panel icon.
The SMART Board software control panel opens.
Click SMART Board Settings.
The SMART Board Settings window opens.
In the drop down menu, select Set Up Icon Strips.
Select any icon strip, and then click Remove.
Click OK, and then close the SMART Board software control panel.
The Set Up Icon Strips option in the SMART Board Settings window enables you to create a hidden toolbar on your desktop to quickly access frequently-used programs. When you create an icon strip, you also choose its location. The strip can be positioned at the left, right or bottom of your desktop. Often, the strip is placed at the bottom of your screen.
