Issue
A Video Error message appears when you play a video in SMART Ideas software.
Solution
Click OK to close the Video Error message. SMART Ideas software creates a link to your computer’s default media player. Click this link to play the video.
To insert and play a video in SMART Ideas software

Select Insert > Video.
The Insert Video dialog box appears.

Type the video’s file path or click Browse to locate the video file.

Select the Shortcut (to create a link to the video file) or Attachment (to embed the video file) option.
A video icon appears with the file name in the center and playback controls at the bottom.

Click the Play button.
A Video Error message appears.

Click OK.
A green link button appears in the bottom left corner of the video icon.

Click the green link button to play the video in your computer’s default media player.
