Online Student Leader Program
Aimed at students in middle school and high school, this session is a 50-minute
look at the basics of using the SMART Board interactive whiteboard and Notebook
software to create and deliver outstanding presentations. You’ll learn:

How the interactive whiteboard works |
 |
How to work with applications on the interactive whiteboard |
 |
How to capture images and notes |
 |
How to give a PowerPoint presentation at the interactive whiteboard |
 |
How to create presentations with Notebook software |
 |
How to use the many free resources available from SMART |
Participants will also receive a package of reference materials and a certificate
of completion.

Who should attend?
Students age 12 through 17 who are proficient with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
software and have presented with a computer to a group.
What do I need for the session?

A PC or Macintosh computer with an Internet connection |
 |
A telephone you can use while using the computer |
When are the sessions?
 |
Preregistration by the school or school district (not the student) is
required.
E-mail training@smarttech.com
indicating the session you are interested in, the number of attendees and
their first names. Please include the words “Student Online”
in the subject line. |

To ensure confidentiality of student information, no identification information
about the student attendees should be sent to SMART other than a first name
for connection purposes. The school or district will be responsible for
providing the students with connection details, materials and certificates
of completion. |

Schools and school districts can arrange a private online session for
their students by contacting training@smarttech.com.
An online trainer will then contact the school or school district representative
to arrange a scheduled time for the group. |
