You’re invited to an all-day professional development event during NECC on June 29, where you’ll learn new techniques and features to help you use SMART Notebook software. You’ll leave our session knowing how to incorporate SMART products into your classroom to strengthen student understanding and increase student engagement.

Attend our event and benefit from a full day of instructor-led training with review exercises and a workbook. As part of this training package, you’ll receive an AirLiner wireless slate to take back to your classroom. You’ll get all this for US$499.

What will you learn?

  • Basic functionality
    Learn about the hardware components that can be attached to your SMART product. Once you understand how they work, you will learn the basic principles of touch, write and save.
  • Working with other applications on your SMART Board interactive whiteboard
    Learn how to write directly into other applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint software.
  • SMART Notebook software
    Learn how to use SMART Notebook software to create a presentation with colorful clip art, Adobe Flash objects, graphics and text from a variety of sources. As you present, keep your audience’s attention by moving and interacting with these objects with your finger. As your audience provides comments and suggestions, write their input directly into your presentation and save everything as a SMART Notebook file.
  • AirLiner wireless slate
    Learn about the AirLiner wireless slate and how it can be incorporated into your everyday teaching environment.
  • SMART Response
    Learn more about SMART Response and how it can support you in improving learning outcomes in your class. Imagine being able to incorporate planned and spontaneous quizzes throughout your lessons with ease.
  • SMART resources
    Learn how SMART supports your use of SMART products with a number of resources, including free training materials on the SMART website and a special online community for educators.
