Installation Training
Level 2 Installation Training
This two-day offering gives participants the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed decisions about installation options, connections and troubleshooting for the SMART Board 600 and 600i series interactive whiteboard. This training features an extensive hands-on component, and includes a heavy emphasis on safety.
The two-day professional development session is either on-site or at a SMART organized training event. Each session is led by a SMART Certified Technical Trainer who has experience installing the SMART Board interactive whiteboard, and Unifi™ series hardware in a variety of environments. By the end of the session participants will be comfortable making informed decisions about installation options, connections and troubleshooting - all while working from a safety-first perspective. Ample time will be provided for discussions and question and answer that will help the participants relate what they have learned to real life installation challenges. Upon completion the participant will be acknowledged as a “SMART Factory Trained Technician”. The cost to attend this event is $999 USD.

What to expect
The session is led by a SMART Technical Trainer who has experience installing the SMART Board interactive whiteboard and Unifi™ 35 and 45 projectors in a variety of environments.
- By the end of the session, you will be comfortable making informed decisions about installation options, connections and troubleshooting - all while working from a safety-first perspective
- You will receive the SMART Installation Training Manual, the Extending USB Connections guide and a USB storage device full of useful installation and technical information
- Ample time will be provided for discussions, questions and answers that will help you relate what you've learned to your work
- All participants will have extensive opportunities for hands-on learning
- Real-time summative assessments will be conducted throughout the training day
How can I prepare for the session?
The prerequisite for this event is to attend two online technical training sessions:
- SMART Board 600 Series Technical Training
- And at least one other Online Technical Training session
