TRADEMARK LIST

A trademark is an adjective describing the noun, which is the general product category.

When using the SMART Board trademark, you must use an appropriate noun descriptor every time.

e.g., People choose the SMART Board™ interactive whiteboard because it helps energize presentations and motivate learners. In 1991, it was the world's first interactive whiteboard. Today, it is the world's leading interactive whiteboard. Combining the simplicity of a whiteboard with the power of a computer, the SMART Board interactive whiteboard engages students and audiences around the world. Best of all, the full-featured SMART Board interactive whiteboard is incredibly easy to use. If you can use a computer, you can use a SMART Board interactive whiteboard.

For all other trademarks, use a noun descriptor on the first mention of the trademark and a minimum of two more times on each page of the document.

Note that the ™ symbol is used with the trademark name only on the first mention in the text. As well, trademarks cannot be made plural or possessive. For example, you cannot say Senteo's features. You must use the noun descriptor or rephrase.
