Your projector’s image flickers or shifts

SMART hardware Unifi 35, Unifi 45, SMART UF55, SMART UF55w, SMART UF65, SMART UF65w, and SMART UX60 projectors
Operating systems Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP operating systems

Issue

The image from your projector flickers or frequently shifts to the left or right.

Cause

Your computer’s screen resolution and refresh rate settings don’t match your projector’s native resolution and recommended refresh rate.

Note

All digital display devices have a native resolution which corresponds to their display capabilities. Matching your computer’s display settings to your projector’s native resolution and recommended refresh rate will give you the best possible image quality. Check your interactive whiteboard system’s specification document or user’s guide for its native resolution and recommended refresh rate.
