Issue
You're able to write with a pen, but nothing happens when you touch the interactive screen with your finger.
Cause
If Windows operating system isn't activated in the 30-day evaluation period, some Windows features are disabled, including Tablet PC Input Service.
SMART Product Drivers requires Tablet PC Input Service to enable Tablet PC pen and ink functionality and touch.
Solution
Determine whether Tablet PC Input Service is enabled.

If Tablet PC Input Service isn't enabled, you can enable it or activate your operating system.

If Tablet PC Input Service is enabled, contact Technical Support.
To determine whether Tablet PC Input Service is enabled

Click Start, type services.msc, and then press ENTER.
The Services window appears.

Find Tablet PC Input Service in the list.
If Tablet PC Input Service's status is started, the service is enabled.
OR
If Tablet PC Input Service's status isn't started, the service isn't enabled.
To enable Tablet PC Input Service

Log on to the Windows operating system as an administrator.

Click Start, type services.msc, and then press ENTER.
The Services window appears.

Right-click Tablet PC Input Service, and then select Properties.
The Tablet PC Input Service Properties dialog box appears.

Select Automatic from the Startup type drop-down list.

Click the Service status Start button.

Click OK.
